Privacy Policy
rawsauce is built for adults and handles sensitive dating, identity, location, media, and safety information. This policy explains the data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices users have.
Information We Collect
- Account details such as sign-in identifiers, age gate confirmation, profile name, age, pronouns, bio, preferences, and verification state.
- Profile and album media that users choose to upload.
- Approximate location signals used to produce distance bands and discovery results.
- Safety data such as reports, blocks, moderation outcomes, account restrictions, and support messages.
- Subscription and entitlement state received through Apple StoreKit. Payment card details are handled by Apple, not rawsauce.
Messages
Messages are designed to use MLS end-to-end encryption. rawsauce servers route encrypted payloads, delivery metadata, key packages, and push wakeups. Message notification previews are generic by default.
Location
Location is used for nearby discovery and is displayed as broad distance bands. Exact coordinates are not shown to other users. Users can hide distance, pause discovery, or disable location permission in iOS settings.
Media
Public profile media and private album media are stored in private buckets and are subject to moderation and access controls. Private albums require a grant and can be revoked or expire.
User Choices
- Update profile details, preferences, visibility, and notification settings in the app.
- Block or report accounts from profile, chat, and media screens.
- Request data export, correction, or account deletion through the in-app privacy controls or support.
- Delete an account from Settings. Some safety, legal, billing, and abuse-prevention records may be retained where required.
